We try to get out more!

A number of photoshoots are organised throughout the year and sometimes these are linked with our project of the month. Photoshoots in the past have included local places, like St. Leonard's Church, Wyckhurst Gardens, Sandwich Seal Safari, Biddenden Vineyard, Brenzett Aeronautical Museum, Dungeness, Hythe, Folkestone, Tenterden, Saltwood, and more distant places such as London. Sometimes a photoshoot is linked to a 'Community Event' such as the Hythe Venetian Fête, Town Council events etc.

Occasionally there are pop-up opportunities and these are notified to members via the club WhatsApp Group.

In 2024 the club organised its first 'mentored' photoshoot in Canterbury where three professional photographers accompanied the members and offered important tips on composition, exposure etc. Due to its success another mentored photoshoot was organised for 2025.
